Primary Frequency Response is the instantaneous proportional increase or decrease in real power output provided by a Resource and the natural real power dampening response provided by Load in response to system frequency deviations. This response is in the direction that stabilizes frequency. Turbine Governors are the main source of primary frequency response. Electricity Market Network Regulation "Appendix 4.. Primary Frequency Control Performance Tests as indicated by the in, the determination of compliance with the UCTE criteria to unit consists of three stages. These steps;

Primary Frequency Control Reserve Test

Dead band is set to 0 (zero) MHz.

Primary frequency control reserve capacity is determined by the value of the sloop of the turbine speed governer (speed droop).

Simulated frequency is applied to turbine speed regulator input, it will not get network to speed data , Df= -200 MHz frequency deviation or f = 49.8 Hz Simulated frequency step  is applied by the changes and is maintained for at least  15 minutes at this value. After this period, the nominal frequency of return of 50 Hz and the unit is well worth the same Pset by waiting to become stable at this time Df = + 200 MHz frequency deviation or f = 50.2 Hz repeating  the same process for this simulated frequency value.

50% of Primary Frequency Control Reserve Capacity  is able to activated  within a maximum of 15 seconds, all in linear time is able to be activated in 30 seconds.

Primary Frequency Control Sensitivity Test

It is expected to react to +/- 5 MHz and 10 MHz +/-  frequency deviations. Insensitivity of unit can not exceed +/- 10 MHz. When it is applied to the frequency deviation valve position  and / or other related signal changes are observed.

24 Hours Verification Testing

During 24-hour test-drive, the graphics have the value of the maximum frequency deviation of positive and the negative direction  is added to test report.
